Super Basmati

Basic cooking method:

  1. Rinse 1 cup of basmati rice until the water runs mostly clear.
  2. Soak for 20–30 minutes (optional but recommended).
  3. Cook with about 1½–2 cups of water.
  4. Bring to a boil, then cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes.
  5. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
