Basic Cooking Method

For 1 cup of 1121 Basmati Rice:

  1. Wash 2–3 times.
  2. Soak for:
    • Steam rice: 20–30 minutes
    • Sella rice: 45–60 minutes
  3. Add:
    • Steam rice: 1.75–2 cups water
    • Sella rice: 2–2.25 cups water
  4. Cook on low heat until water is absorbed.
  5. Rest for 10 minutes and fluff before serving
